Before work starts
You may cancel in writing within five business days of payment for a full refund if we have not started the agreed review. If you ask us to begin during that period, the work-started rule below applies.
After work starts
Where review work has begun, we deduct a fair amount for completed scoping, document handling and analysis. The remainder, if any, is refunded. A delivered findings note or completed consultation is non-refundable unless the service was materially not supplied as agreed or consumer law requires otherwise.
Rescheduling and missed consultations
A consultation may be moved once without charge when at least one business day’s notice is given. A missed session or later cancellation may be treated as used because reviewer time was reserved. We will consider emergencies reasonably.
Records, third-party costs and delays
Compiler Servicehub does not normally purchase materials for this service. Any exceptional third-party cost must be approved in writing and is non-refundable once incurred. Delays caused by incomplete records do not create an automatic refund, but you may cancel subject to completed work.
If we cancel
If we cannot complete the agreed service, you may choose a reasonable rescheduled date or a refund for the unprovided portion. Where no substantive work has been delivered, the fee is refunded in full.
Requesting a refund
Email info@compiler-servicehub.digital with the client name, engagement reference, reason and preferred contact details. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 7–10 business days after confirmation. Bank processing times may add delay.
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under South African consumer law.
